Extremely busy couple of weeks settling in with new groups in the Design Studios of DIFE. Along with that all our graduates from last year are preparing for the next big venture in their Design careers! New academic year is starting for most of them this week and I’m sure there are a few nerves!
We have had impromptu visits from some who are working on their NCAD Summer projects in preparation to start 1st Year Core Studies tomorrow. Very exciting times for all our former students beginning in their new colleges of Art and Design.
We would like to wish you all the very best of luck in this next step! Go in knowing you have worked extremely hard for your places and that the college CHOSE you to become part of their new academic year. They saw something in your portfolios that caught their eye and they are as eager to work with you as you are to work with them. Focus on your OWN work and ideas and don’t get distracted by what others are doing around you. It is daunting! It is all new! But this is the next level for you all so take it with both hands and work hard. All our graduates are VERY familiar with hard work so this will not be anything new for you. Ask questions! If you are unsure…ask!
Last but not least….Good Luck!! Enjoy the wonderful experience of 3rd Level. It will be over whelming at times but so worth it. NCAD, DIT, LIT, GMIT and IADT will be lucky to have you!
